The Skewer House is a family run restaurant -
The family are originally from the island of Madeira.

The restaurant sells the popular skewer style dish "Espetada"- a selection of skewered meats/fish/vegetables cooked over a chargrill/hotcoals/charbroiler/barbecue. Traditionally on a stick from the Bay tree , this dish is served throughout the mountains and shore during the festivals of the Portuguese island.
