The Lowland Games

This year’s fun includes the highlight of the day, the River Raft Race with competitors in the most hilarious fancy dress. How often will you get the chance to see the Pink Ladies competing against Batman and local firemen to be the first down the river? We also have the infamous Mud Wrestling arena, It’s a Knock Out on and in the river, Children’s Games, Family Dog Shows, Gun Dog Scurry and the Tug of War. There is entertainment with the Fabulous Ferret Racing, teas and homemade refreshment and the best beer tent in the area, serving local ales and Somerset cider from locally grown apples.

There will be giggletastic fun for all, whether you choose to take part in the mud encrusted games or you would just like to watch the fun from the river bank whilst enjoying a slice of homemade cake and a cuppa.
