New Cycle Route Launched on Exmoor

A permanent cycle route based upon the 2007 Tour of Britain route will be launched on Thursday 7th August. This 60 mile route incorporates the best of the 2007 South West stage, whilst highlighting Exmoor as one the region's best tourist destinations.
The route is accesible to all cyclists and as it is a circular route, cyclists can choose where they wish to start and finish.

Cycling Taster Sessions for Kids
British Cycling's Go Ride scheme is offering BMX coaching activities at Apex Park at Burnham-on-Sea. BMX riding is growing in popularity and will feature at the Olympics for the first time this year.
The sessions take place between 10AM and 1PM from the 4th - 8th of August. Sessions are open to novice riders aged 10-16 and five quality sessions will cost £37.50. All riders will receive a free goodie bag and cycling t-shirt. Interested parties should contact Dan Coast on 0779 3844653 or email him at dancoast@britishcycling.org.
