Nearby in Burnham-on-Sea you can take in a play or peruse some art over coffee and cake at The Princess Theatre & Arts Centre, which has a busy schedule of shows and events.

Burnham has an events calendar to suit everyone.
If you visit during late Spring and early Summer make sure to check the events diary for one of the music events in Manor Gardens. The music events are organised by volunteers, are free to attend and showcase local artists and bands.  Bring a picnic and a blanket and enjoy an afternoon of music and entertainment within a short distance of the town centre.  Manor Gardens features a younger children’s play park, tennis courts, planted areas and a formal bandstand.

The grand firework display takes place annually on the seafront in November and heralds the carnival season. The professional fireworks display is organised by the town council and is free to attend, but donations to the authorised charity collection is appreciated.

Burnham carnival welcomes thousands of people to watch the November carnival when over one hundred giant illuminated carnival floats pass through the streets in a music and light filled evening of entertainment before travelling across other Somerset locations.
